Science Research-Biosensor For Early Cortisol Detection

April 2023–November 2023

  • Fabricated a biosensor for early detection of Cortisol in the human body.
  • Validated by performing rounds of testing using samples of saliva. MIP biosensor provided excellent sensitivity and accuracy for detection of normal vs stressed levels of Cortisol in the human body.
    • Physical Science award at the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair.
    • Biotechnology award at the CSEF, Greenwich board of education, Norwalk community college medallist.

Science Research-NonToxic Sunscreen for CORAL REEF Protection

April 2022–March 2023

  • Researched the impact of commercial oxybenzone based sunscreens on Corals Reefs and on Human health.
  • Created a nontoxic sunscreen at home(using zinc-oxide, bees-wax, Vitamin E, Olive oil). Tested multiple iterations of the sunscreen to validate results and side effects
  • Awarded at the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair. Earned the Physical Science award, Norwalk community college award, Greenwich board of education

April 2022–March 2023

  • Created a water filter that removes oil concentration from water
  • US Air Force Award, Finalist at the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair
